Practice with a couple different brands, energy levels, and grain sizes. After you have found the cartridge which gives you the best return in terms of target grouping, comfort, and price, stick with it! Switching manufacture grain size, FPS, and energy levels will give you mixed results with your grouping due to the varied ballistics. By sticking to the same cartridges, you can predict what your ammo will do and should do. This will give you the confidence to push your ammunition and abilities as a shooter.
